I spent the pandemic on a council estate in south London

arriving in Tossa de Mar, I started ripping and cutting local vintage guidebooks

I realised I was drawn to the lines where the sky meets the sea
and where the sea meets the sand

I think I had been missing the horizon

AIR.Cat residency, Museu Municipal de Tossa de Mar
Visitors were invited to lay back on a beach lounger to observe the collaged vertical horizons on the walls and ceiling and paint their own beach-pebble runes with nail varnish to contribute to the installation, with tessellated coastal tiles pasted through the room horizontally
Vintage guide book, xerox prints, wheat paste, sun lounger, beach pebbles, nail varnish, 2021
